You might be thinking, that’s a pretty weird name to have, ‘Nike’? But actually that name has been stuck with him ever since he left college and how ‘Nikhil’ turned into ‘Nike’, no one knows. Although he is a die-hard gamer and a movie enthusiast, he is also one of the most gregarious people you’d ever meet. He always shows brilliance when it comes to cinematography/editing and strives to do better at anything he does every single time and never gives up till the task is complete. He’s one of those people who loves to make people laugh and can build an everlasting impression of himself anywhere he goes. Capturing moments beyond the scenes with a camera, and using them to create something magical, he is the one person that you can always count on in delivering jaw-dropping wedding highlight films.
TV series or movies? Style of cinematography?TV series or movies?…I’d say I love both actually. Each one has something unique to offer when it comes to the style of cinematography. My personal choice when it comes to style of cinematography will have to be the works of Steven Spielberg. His use of wide angle shots never seizes to amaze me.
One place in the world that you would like to travel to and why?Japan, for the anime. Don’t ask…
Have you ever been overwhelmed at a shoot? If yes, how did you handle it?Of course, everyone who has been in this type of work has been in that overwhelming situation, weddings can be crazy. You just have to keep your cool at those moments and be extra vigilant, that always helps me.
What does film-making mean to you?Filmmaking has been a dream of mine since I was a child living at my grandma’s and coming home from school every day my first thing to do was to watch movies regardless of what it was. I’ve always thought to myself that what would it take me to create those amazing cinematic shots. I love filmmaking and I am glad to be in this incredible field of creativity.
